open workshops
We offer open workshop dates from (10am till 2pm) for individuals to come and work on their ongoing metalwork projects and/or practice their welding, brazing and fabrication skills.

There will be one metalwork tutor to a maximum of 4 individuals in the work-space.
These open workshop dates are also suitable for individuals who have already attended a WTF workshop with us and would like to develop their skills further.

For anyone who want's to book has not previously used our workshop, but has some metalwork experience, please email us at to arrange a workshop induction beforehand.

We do have a huge variety of interesting pieces of scrap metal at the WTF workshop, but these are not included in the course price. These are available for purchase at a very reasonable cost, but participants are encouraged to bring their own materials for their chosen projects.

Tools available include: 3 x MIG welders. Angle Grinders. Cold Band Saw. Plazma Cutter. Pillar drill. Slip Rollers. Tube Rollers. Brazing equipment. Oxy-propane blow torch....and many hand tools!
​
All tools, equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) and consumables such as grinding disks, drill bits and gasses,
tea, coffee and snacks are included in the price.

We ask you to come along wearing suitable non-synthetic clothing with long sleeves and closed-toe, solid footwear.
